VLADIMIR TISMA
ARCTIC SOLO ROADTRIP
Vladimir's first solo expedition beyond the Swiss borders took place in the far north of Norway in the Lofoten Islands. In search of adventure, the photographer set out on the arctic roads in search of the northern lights. These beaches at the end of the world are home to treasures that only the most determined will have the chance to see. The notion of solitude is a state that is far too underestimated in the education of a human being. To find oneself facing extreme conditions is an exercise that the artist is particularly fascinated by. The small pleasures are multiplied by a hundred and the contact with the locals is instantaneous in an absolute simplicity. The only thing we can rest on at this moment is precisely why we are here, by passion. That's why the vast majority of the pictures in this exhibition come from these remote parts of the world.
